CHARLOTTESVILLE – The University of Virginia men’s basketball team hosts the Los Angeles Stars in its second and final exhibition game of the 2001-02 preseason practice period on Sunday, Nov. 11. The game is scheduled to begin at 2:00 p.m.

Virginia defeated the Nantucket Nectars 82-70 in an exhibition game on November 2. Junior forward/center Travis Watson and senior forward Chris Williams had double-doubles for the Cavaliers. Watson finished with a game-high 24 points and had 10 rebounds, while Williams added 17 points and game-high totals of 13 rebounds and six assists. Junior guard Roger Mason, Jr., scored 14 points and had four assists in the victory, and sophomore forward J.C. Mathis scored 10 points and grabbed six rebounds.

UVa plays its first regular-season game on November 16 when the Cavaliers host Wagner College at University Hall. That game is scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m.
