FRANKLIN, Tenn – The University of Virginia men’s golf team is currently in fourth place after two rounds at the Mason Rudolph Collegiate Championship at the Legends Club of Tennessee in Franklin, Tennessee. Virginia senior Steve Marino is tied for third with a five-under-par 135 after rounds of 68 and 67.

N.C. State is currently leading the tournament with a seven-under-par 553, after shooting rounds of 277 and 276. The Cavaliers were in first place after the first round with a four-under-par 276, but dropped to fourth after a second round score of 280. Virginia currently is three strokes behind the Wolfpack with a four-under-par 556. The University of Alabama is currently second (281-273-554), and Georgia State is third (277-278-555) in the 12-team field.

Codie Mudd of Mississippi State is currently in first place with a nine-under-par 131 (64-67). Virginia’s Justin Goodhue is tied for 13th with a two-round score of 140 (66-74). Rounding out the Virginia players are Kevin O’Connell (72-71-143) and Scott McMahon (73-74-147).
