CHARLOTTESVILLE – Roger Mason, Jr., a three-year letterman for the University of Virginia men’s basketball team, has kept his name in consideration for the 2002 National Basketball Association draft. Wednesday (June 19) was the deadline for underclassmen to withdraw from the NBA draft (June 26) and Mason kept his name in consideration. The decision means he will pass up his final year of eligibility at Virginia.
