CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The University of Virginia softball team takes to the road for a pair of doubleheaders this weekend. The Cavaliers wrap up regular season Atlantic Coast Conference play with a doubleheader at 13th-ranked Florida State on Saturday (April 26) at 1:00 p.m. UVa will then travel to Troy, Alabama for a doubleheader against Troy State on Sunday (April 27) that will begin at 1:00 p.m. Central Time. The Florida State games can be viewed via “Gametracker”, while the Troy State matchups can be heard live on the internet.
UVa enters weekend play with a 33-20 overall record and a 3-3 mark in the ACC. The Cavaliers have won their last five games and seven of the past eight. Florida State is red-hot, as it has won 20 consecutive games and stands at 39-9 overall and 4-0 in the ACC. Troy State is currently 36-20 on the season.

The trip to Tallahassee marks a homecoming for Virginia first-year pitcher Erin Horn (Tallahassee, Fla./Leon). In her first season at UVa, Horn is 13-10 in the circle with a team-best 2.06 ERA. Horn has struck out 130 batters in 139.1 innings.
