Charlottesvile, VA – After a seventh-place finish at Notre Dame’s Gridiron Classic Tuesday, the Virginia men’s golf team is back in action this weekend when it competes Saturday and Sunday at the Bank of Tennessee Intercollegiate at The Ridges Golf and Country Club in Jonesborough, Tenn. The 15-team field includes five teams from the ACC, five teams from the Southeastern Conference, and perennially strong programs such as Pepperdine and TCU. East Tennessee State is the host school for the event.

Of the 15-team field, 11 teams are currently ranked in the nation’s Top 50, with seven teams ranked in the Top 30. Individually, six players are ranked in the Top 50. The field includes: Alabama, Auburn, East Tennessee State, Kentucky, Kent State, North Carolina, NC State, Pepperdine, Texas Christian, Tennessee, South Carolina, UAB, Virginia Tech, Wake Forest

Virginia’s lineup will include Daniel Kefale, Eamonn McLoughlin, Greg Carlin, Conrad Von Borsig and Andrea Signor. Von Borsig currently leads the team with a 74.33 stroke average. Kefale was Virginia’s top finisher at Notre Dame, coming in 17th overall.

At last year’s tournament at The Ridges, Carter Henderson led UVa with a 31st place finish shooting 223. The Cavaliers were 14th overall with a score of 898.
