CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The Virginia softball team’s doubleheader against Liberty scheduled for Wednesday (April 11) has been postponed due to the inclement weather scheduled to be in the Charlottesville area at game time. A make-up date has not been determined.
The Cavaliers, who are 14-27 overall and 1-11 in the Atlantic Coast Conference, return to action this weekend when they travel to Raleigh, N.C., for a three-game series against NC State. The two teams will meet in a doubleheader on Saturday (April 14) beginning at 1 p.m. followed by a single game at noon on Sunday (April 15).
