CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. Pre-sale tickets for a possible NCAA Baseball Regional tournament at Davenport Field are now on sale. Regional all-session ticket books will be sold for $56 for Reserved seating and $40 for General Admission. If available, single-game tickets will be $12 for Reserved and $8 for General Admission, with $4 upgrades available from General Admission to Reserved.

NCAA Regional sites will be announced Sunday, May 24 with the selection show to follow at 12:30 p.m. May 25 on ESPN.

Regular season Reserved season ticket holders will have the opportunity to purchase their same seat locations for the post-season. Seating for any additional Reserved seats ordered by season ticket holders will be based first on Virginia Athletics Foundation priority points, followed by the date the order is received.

2009 baseball season ticket holders have the option of pre-ordering ticket booklets for the NCAA Regionals and Super Regionals through the priority seating date of May 13. In the event that Reserved tickets are unavailable at the time of seating, orders will be filled with General Admission tickets unless otherwise noted. In addition, should Virginia not be selected to host a postseason tournament, the season ticket holder’s credit card will not be charged.

Non-season ticket holders’ credit cards will be charged at the time of purchase. Should Virginia not be selected to host a postseason tournament, all customers will receive a full refund of their order charge.

Customers ordering postseason all-session ticket books by 5 p.m. May 20 may choose to have the tickets mailed to the address provided.

Customers purchasing a postseason tournament book commit to the purchase of tickets for both the Regional and Super Regional round (June 5-8), if Virginia is selected as a tournament host for those rounds. Super Regional tickets are $40 for Reserved seating and $30 for General Admission for the best 2 of 3 series.

Because of the success of the Virginia baseball team this season and in previous years, these games are expected to sell out. Season ticket holders are encouraged to take advantage of the pre-sale opportunity, as it is the only way to guarantee they will be able to attend all tournament games.

All sections of the grandstand are considered reserved seating for the entire NCAA tournament. General admission seating is only located on the grassy hillside down the left-field line, in the outfield bleachers and the temporary bleachers down the first-base line.

Single session tickets will go on sale to the public on Friday, May 29 at 9 a.m., if available.
