Baseball Single-Game Tickets and Family Packages Go On Sale Monday

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – Single-game tickets and Sunday ACC Family Packages for the 2010 Virginia baseball season go on sale Monday (Feb. 1) at the Virginia Athletics Ticket Office and online at VirginiaSports.com.
General Admission tickets are $7 for adults, $5 for youth (18 and under), seniors (60 and over) and UVa faculty/staff (limit two with valid university ID). Tickets for groups (20+) are $4 each.
Sunday ACC Family Packages are available for Sunday home games against Boston College (March 21), Clemson (March 28), Georgia Tech (April 11), Virginia Tech (April 18) and North Carolina (May 16). These packages include a General Admission ticket, hot dog and a 22-ounce Pepsi for $8 per ticket (minimum purchase of four tickets).
Customers may purchase tickets by visiting VirginiaSports.com, calling (800) 542-UVA1 or by visiting the Virginia Athletics Ticket Office in Bryant Hall during regular business hours, Monday through Friday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Tickets will also be sold at the Davenport Field ticket windows beginning two hours prior to each home game.
The Cavaliers’ home schedule features 35 games and is highlighted by ACC series against 2009 NCAA Tournament qualifiers Boston College (March 19-21), Clemson (March 26-28), Georgia Tech (April 9-11) and North Carolina (May 14-16). The Tar Heels reached the College World Series last year while the Tigers were Super Regional qualifiers. The non-conference schedule is headlined by 2009 NCAA qualifiers Wright State, Dartmouth, George Mason and Coastal Carolina.
General Admission season tickets also remain on sale and are available for seating in designated sections of the grandstand, on the grassy hillside and in the left-field bleachers. Prices for general admission season tickets are $100 for adults and $75 for youth (18 and under), seniors (60 and over), faculty and staff.
All Reserved Seat and Reserved Bleacher seating areas are sold out on a season basis. Any Reserved tickets returned to the Athletics Ticket Office, as well as obstructed view tickets, will be sold beginning two hours prior to each home game for $9 each. Fans with General Admission tickets may upgrade to Reserved seating for $4 per ticket, subject to availability.
Pick 10 Mini Packages also are available and cost $40 per seat, a savings of $30 (over 40 percent) off single-game prices. Fans may choose any 10 games from the schedule. All Mini Package seating is in the General Admission sections of Davenport Field, including the grandstand, hillside and left-field bleachers.
In addition to tickets for single games, tickets for the Davenport Club are on sale. Located on the suite level behind home plate, the Davenport Club seats 16 fans in an indoor environment, with an additional eight standing room tickets available for purchase. The Davenport Club package includes 16 tickets, four reserved lot parking passes, a baseball meal for 16, soda and water.
