CHARLOTTESVILLE – Cavman’s Crew members are invited to attend several Virginia athletics events occurring on Grounds this weekend.

The Virginia softball team hosts Notre Dame in a doubleheader on Friday beginning at 4 p.m. and in the series finale on Saturday at noon. There will be a pre-game Family Fun Zone on Saturday starting at 11:30 a.m. After the game, children will be invited onto the field for a post-game candy dash and running of the bases. The team will be available for autographs behind the Virginia dugout. Admission is free to all softball games at The Park.

The No. 1 Virginia Baseball team hosts North Carolina at Davenport Field for a three-game series this weekend. Friday’s game is at 6 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday’s games will start at 1 p.m. Following Sunday’s finale, there will be a post-game candy dash, running of the bases, and autographs on the field with the team. The first 100 Cavman’s Crew members at each game are eligible to use one of their vouchers to gain free admission to this weekend’s baseball games.

On Saturday at 1 p.m., No. 8-ranked men’s lacrosse hosts Bellarmine. Army ROTC presents the pre-game Family Fun Zone outside Klöckner Stadium starting at 11 a.m. Senior Day ceremonies honoring 13 fourth-year student-athletes will begin at 12:45 p.m. The first 100 Cavman’s Crew members in attendance are eligible to use one of their vouchers to gain free admission to this game.

Cavman’s Crew is free to join and open to all youth in eighth grade and under. Members receive a complimentary t-shirt and book of seven vouchers that can be redeemed for free admission to select Virginia home athletics events in addition to other benefits. Single-game tickets for Virginia men’s lacrosse or any of the Virginia baseball games taking place this weekend can be purchased online at VirginiaSports.com or by calling the Virginia Athletics Ticket Office at 800-542-8821, Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. Tickets may also be purchased on game day at the Klockner Stadium box office.
