Virginia Men's Swimming and Diving Adds Two to Signing Class

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va.—Virginia swimming and diving head coach Augie Busch announced Wednesday (April 23) that Brendan Casey (Santa Monica, Calif.) and Jack Smith (Stoke-on-Trent, England) have signed National Letters of Intent to join the Cavalier men for the 2014-15 season.
Casey and Smith join the group of Jack Bowtell, Luke Georgiadis, Nicholas Magana, Anthony Marcantonio and Henrik Pohlmann, who all signed in the fall.

• Placed sixth as the anchor leg for the 4x100m medley relay and qualified for the semifinals and finished 12th in the 100m free at the same meet
• Age-group national champion in the 100m free and age-group record holder in 50m free
