BOUNCE BACK MONDAY
• After suffering a 2-0 loss at home against No. 23 Duke last Friday (Oct. 5), Virginia responded with a 3-0 win over No. 5 Denver on Monday night.
• Denver was the second team in six days (Wright State) to be handed their first loss of the year at Klöckner Stadium.
• Freshman forward Daryl Dike scored twice, once in each half to pace the Virginia offense.
• The Pioneers, the eighth-ranked offense nationally with the country’s leading scorer, Andre Shinyashiki (21 goals), were limited to just two shots in the contest.

MULTI-POINT EFFORTS
• Dike was credited with the game-winner in the 28th minute against Denver and scored the game’s lone second-half goal. He has scored three goals in his last three games.
• The freshman forward is the first multi-goal scorer of the season for Virginia and the first since Pablo Aguilar netted two against Boston College in last season’s ACC quarterfinals.
