CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. –The No. 6 Virginia women’s soccer team (13-2-0, 6-2-0 ACC) continues its homestand on Sunday (Oct. 21), hosting No. 14 Florida State (11-3-2, 4-3-1 ACC) in a 1 p.m. contest at Klöckner Stadium.

It will be senior day for the Cavaliers who honor eight players prior to the start of the contest. 

The match will be broadcast on television through the ACC Regional Sports Networks. Fans can also keep up with the action through live stats linked at VirginiaSports.com or by following the program’s official Twitter account @UVAWomenSoccer.

Fans can purchase tickets at a discounted rate in advance by going online to VirginiaSports.com/Tickets. 
 
For all regular season home games, available reserved single-game tickets can be purchased in advance for $8 online or via mobile devices. Tickets are $10 at the sport-specific ticket office on game day. General admission single-game tickets are $5 in advance and $8 at the sport-specific ticket office locations on game day.
 
PROMOTIONS TO WATCH FOR IN RETURN HOME VS. FSU AND NC STATE
• A face painter and balloon artist will be on hand for FSU and the first 1200 fans receive a UVA scarf 
• Sunday’s match vs. Florida State will also be senior day with eight seniors being recognized pre-match
• UVA alum and USWNT member Morgan Brian will sign autographs for the hour prior to kick vs. FSU
• The first 1,000 fans against NC State receive a rally towel and students earn 5 Sabre Rewards points

SWANSON CLOSING IN ON MILESTONE, APPROACHING 400 CAREER COACHING WINS
• UVA head coach Steve Swanson is closing on in a rare achievement as he approaches 400 career wins
• As a head coach, Swanson holds a 399-152-55 record through stops at Dartmouth, Stanford and UVA
• Currently only 10 D1 coaches have hit the 400 win milestone with seven of them currently active
• Swanson is one of only nine coaches who would have all 400 wins at a D1 institution
