Redding Starts Match Play at North & South Am
Pinehurst, N.C. –Virginia senior Anna Redding (Concord, N.C.) finished the match play portion of the 116th North & South Women’s Amateur Championship in second place. Redding shot 3-over 145 during the two days of medal play. She tied for first with South Carolina’s Anita Uwadia, but lost a one-hole playoff for the medal play title.
Redding begins match play Wednesday against Anna Morgan of Spartanburg, S.C.
Current Cavaliers Katharine Patrick, Beth Lillie and Morgan Gonzales failed to advance to match play.
