CARY, N.C. – The No. 1 Virginia women’s soccer team (15-0-3) will face No. 5 Florida State (15-4-0) in the semifinals of the ACC Championships in a 2:30 p.m. match on Friday (Nov. 8) at WakeMed Soccer Park. Virginia is the three seed in the tournament, while Florida State is the two seed.

The match will be carried on the ACC Network and streamed live on the ESPN app to viewers who subscribe to a cable system that carries the ACC Network. TICKET INFORMATION
Tickets are $10 for general admission and are good for both semifinal games on Friday. Tickets for Sunday’s championship match are also $10. Tickets can be purchased at the gate or online at www.TheACC.com. Youth under the age of 18 and students of an ACC institution with a valid student ID will be admitted free.

A LOOK AT THE FLORIDA STATE SEMINOLES
• Florida State is 15-4-0 this season and is coming off a 2-1 victory over Clemson in the ACC quarterfinals 
• FSU has won three straight with wins over Wake Forest, Duke in the regular-season finale and Clemson in the 
   quarterfinals
• Deyna Castellanos is ACC Offensive Player of the Week with two goals and an assist last week, including the 
   game-winner vs. Duke
• Castellanos leads the Seminoles offense with 11 goals and nine assists this season for a team-leading 31 points
• Keeper Caroline Jeffers has 43 saves and 20 goals allowed on her way to a 12-4-0 record in goal this season and 
   five solo shutouts
• As a team, FSU has scored 42 goals while allowing the 20 goals against – the Seminoles have allowed eight goals 
   in the four losses
 
THE SERIES WITH THE SEMINOLES
• Virginia leads the all-time series 20-8-6 with the Seminoles of Florida State
• The Seminoles have had the run lately with a 5-3-2 edge in the last 10 meetings
• Virginia’s won this season’s meeting in Tallahassee, the first since 2008 there for UVA
