CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. –The No. 22 Virginia wrestling team (12-8, 1-2 ACC) hits the road this weekend to take on No. 14 Virginia Tech (8-3, 2-1 ACC) in a 7 p.m. dual on Saturday night (Feb. 16) at the Moss Performing Arts Center in Blacksburg, Va.

COMMONWEALTH CLASH
The Commonwealth Clash presented by Virginia529 is a head-to-head, points-based competition between the athletic teams at University of Virginia and Virginia Tech. The Commonwealth Clash encourages a friendly, statewide rivalry between the two schools across all school-sponsored sports with 22 individual event points on the line.  The school that accumulates 11.5 points or more will be crowned the winner and take home the Commonwealth Clash trophy presented by Virginia Five Two Nine.  Visit TheCommonwealthClash.com for more information and current standings.
 
CAVALIERS IN THE NCAA RANKINGS AND RPI
The second edition of the NCAA Coaches Panel Rankings and initial RPI have been released and several Cavaliers make an appearance in the rankings. Seven Virginia wrestlers are ranked in the coaches panel rankings, while six wrestlers appear in the initial RPI rankings. Wrestlers must have wrestled 15 matches to qualify for the RPI.

UP NEXT FOR THE HOOS
Virginia will return home to close out the dual season next week against No. 15 Pittsburgh on Friday (Feb. 22). The dual will also be senior night for the Cavaliers who will recognize four wrestlers prior to the beginning of the dual.
