Friday’s Series Opener Postponed, Doubleheader Saturday at Noon

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The series opener between Virginia and Seton Hall originally scheduled for Friday (March 1) at 3 p.m. has been postponed. The two teams will play a doubleheader on Saturday (March 2) beginning at noon.
 
The second game of Saturday’s doubleheader will start 40 minutes after the conclusion of game one. The final game of the series has also been moved to a 9:30 a.m. first pitch. All three games will still air on ACC Network Extra as originally planned.
 
Updated Series Schedule
Game 1:  Saturday, March 2 – Noon
Game 2:  Saturday, March 2 – 40 min after conclusion of game one
Game 3:  Sunday, March 3 – 9:30 a.m.
 
Ticket Information
Tickets for the Friday game will be accepted for the second game of the Saturday doubleheader. Fans with tickets for the Friday game that cannot attend the second game on Saturday may exchange their tickets in advance for a General Admission ticket to any other regular season game by calling the Virginia Athletics Ticket Office at (800) 542-8821 during regular business hours, Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., or bring their ticket stubs to the gate for General Admission seating at any remaining regular season home game, subject to seat availability at the time of arrival.
 
Saturday Parking
Due to the men’s basketball game at John Paul Jones arena on Saturday, parking for baseball will only be available in the Emmett/Ivy garage.
 
Clear Bag Policy
Consistent with policies set that took effect last season, fans attending games at Disharoon Park in 2019 must adhere to the department’s clear bag policy and entrance procedures.
