CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – Virginia’s Kyle Guy (Indianapolis, Ind.), De’Andre Hunter (Philadelphia, Pa.) and Ty Jerome (New Rochelle, N.Y.) were each named to the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Division I All-District 2 Teams, announced on Thursday (March 21).
 
Guy and Hunter both earned first team honors and Jerome was named to the second team. The trio also earned USBWA All-District honors.
 
Hunter spearheads UVA’s top-ranked defense that yields 55.1 points per game. He is averaging career highs in points (15.1) and rebounds (5.0). He ranks third in the ACC in field goal percentage (53%), seventh in free throw percentage (78.4%) and 13th in scoring (15.1). Hunter earned Battle 4 Atlantis MVP honors and ACC Player of the Week accolades after averaging 19.3 points and 7.7 rebounds in the tournament.
 
Guy leads the Cavaliers with 15.6 points per game. He ranks first in the ACC in 3-pointers per game (3.3), third in 3-point percentage (46.3%), ninth in minutes (34.5) and field goal percentage (47.2%) and 11th in scoring (15.6). Guy has scored 20 or more points in eight games and his 106 3-pointers this season rank fourth on UVA’s single-season list.
 
Jerome is averaging career highs in points (13), rebounds (4.0) and assists (5.4). He ranks first in the ACC assists (5.4), second in assist-to-turnover ratio (3.3), fourth in 3-point percentage (39.7%), 16th in minutes (32.7) and 26th in scoring (13.1). Jerome has three double-doubles this season, including 16 points and school-record tying 14 assists at Syracuse. Jerome has handed out four or more assists in 23 games.
 
Hunter and Guy were named to the All-ACC first team, while Jerome was named to the All-ACC second team. Hunter was also named the ACC Defensive Player of the Year.
