LOUISVILLE, Ky. – No. 1 seed Virginia (31-3) battles No. 12 seed Oregon (25-12) in the NCAA Sweet 16 on Thursday, March 28. Tipoff at KFC Yum! Center in Louisville, Ky., is set for approximately 10 p.m. ET on TBS.

• Virginia (31-3) is making its 10th NCAA Sweet 16 appearance and seeks its first Elite Eight berth since 2016.

• Three-time National and four-time ACC Coach of the Year Tony Bennett has a 250-89 (.737) mark in 10 seasons at Virginia and 319-122 (.723) career mark in 13 seasons.
• Bennett became the 80th active Division I head coach to win his 300th career game against Marshall on Dec. 31, 2018.
• In 2017-18, Bennett led Virginia to its eighth ACC regular-season title, third ACC Tournament championship, school-record 31 wins, ACC-record 17 league wins and ACC-record 9-0 mark on the road.

• Mike Scott scored 17 points and grabbed 13 rebounds to lead Virginia to a 67-54 victory at Oregon on Dec. 18, 2010.

Last Time Out
• Mamadi Diakite scored a game-high 14 points along with nine rebounds as No. 1 seed Virginia defeated No. 9 seed Oklahoma 63-51 in the NCAA second round on Sunday, March 24 in Columbia, S.C.
• Ty Jerome added 12 points, three assists and three steals and De’Andre Hunter added 10 points before fouling out.
• Braxton Key added nine points and nine rebounds and Kihei Clark chipped in nine points as UVA tied a school record with its 31st win.
• Virginia used an 18-2 run en route to a 31-22 halftime lead.
• The Cavaliers shot 48.2 percent and overcame Kyle Guy’s 2 of 15 effort from the field.
• Brady Manek and Christian James each had 13 points for Oklahoma (20-14), which shot 36.5 percent (19 of 52) in the loss.
