CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – Virginia (21-13, 8-7 ACC) will play host to Miami (22-12, 7-8 ACC) this weekend in a three-game Atlantic Coast Conference series at Disharoon Park. The two teams will play a doubleheader on Saturday (April 13) beginning at noon. All three games of the series will be broadcast live on ACC Network Extra.

TICKET INFORMATION
Fans can purchase tickets at a discounted rate in advance by going online to VirginiaSports.com/Tickets. For all regular season home games, available reserved single-game tickets can be purchased in advance for $8 online or via mobile devices. Tickets are $10 at the sport-specific ticket office on game day. General admission single-game tickets are $5 in advance and $8 at the sport-specific ticket office locations on game day.
 
PARKING INFORMATION
Parking will be available in the University Hall west lot and the Emmett Ivy Garage on a first come/first served basis. The JPJ surface lot and garage will have a vacate time of 4:30 on Saturday and noon on Sunday to accommodate an event at the arena.

• Virginia comes into the weekend winners of four-straight games and seven of its last 10.
• The Cavaliers and Hurricanes will meet for the 57th time on Friday night with all-time series knotted at 28.

ACC Play This Season
• Virginia has won the opening game of four of the five ACC series this season. Notre Dame is the only team to capture a game one victory against the Cavaliers.
• The Cavaliers won their second ACC of the series of the season by sweeping a road doubleheader on Saturday (April 6) at Notre Dame. It marked the first road ACC doubleheader sweep since 2016.
• Game three has been the deciding game in each of the three ACC series this season.
 
National Leader
• Tanner Morris moved into a tied for the national lead in doubles with his 18th on Wednesday night against Norfolk State.
• The sophomore has a double in five of the last six games and nine of the 15 ACC games this season.
• Morris’ team-best .358 batting average is the sixth highest in the ACC and his 49 hits rank in the top 35 in the country.
• Morris strung together seven-straight multi-hit performances from March 30-April 6. He is currently riding a career-high 11-game hit streak. He’s the third Cavalier this season to hold a hit streak of 10 or more games (Gelof – 17; Simmons – 11).
 
Player Notes
• Nic Kent reached base five times on Wednesday against Norfolk State going 4-for-5 with four RBI. The four hits and four RBI were both season-highs. He is one of four Cavaliers this season to record a four-hit game.
• Kent moved into the team lead with 18 RBI and is tied with Cameron Simmons with seven multi-RBI games this season.
• Simmons enters the weekend having reached base in 19-straight games. In ACC play, he is batting .362 with six doubles, two home runs and 12 RBI.
• Cayman Richardson is the team’s hottest hitter over the last five games, compiling six hits in 16 at bats (.375). In that span he’s scored a team-high seven runs and tallied three doubles and a triple.
 
Team Notes
• A total of six Virginia players have 20 or more RBI this season, tied with NC State for the most in the ACC.
• Virginia enters the weekend batting .294 as a team, the second highest average in the conference and 34th highest in the country. Virginia’s 342 hits are the 27th most in the NCAA.
• With seven errors in the last four games, Virginia is slipped down to third in the ACC in fielding percentage (.977) behind Louisville (.978)
• Virginia has compiled double-digit hits in three of the last four games, including a 15-hit night on Wednesday against Norfolk.

Visiting the Mound
• Reliever Kyle Whitten saved both games of the Saturday doubleheader at Notre Dame, becoming the first UVA pitchers to close down both games of a doubleheader since Branden Kline in 2011 against Maryland.
• Whitten leads the team with 17 appearances and is tied for second in the ACC with six saves. His five saves in ACC play are tops in the league and he has a pair of holds to his credit.
• Sunday starter Mike Vasil recorded his second quality start last Sunday at Notre Dame, allowing three runs over 6.2 innings pitched. He fanned a season-high, seven batters and walked only one batter.
