Softball Announces Fall Slate

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – Virginia softball will play four doubleheaders along with the annual Orange & Blue Series in its 2019 fall schedule. All four exhibition dates will come on the road in October.
 
The Cavaliers will open the fall with a pair of games at James Madison on Oct. 5. The twin bill with the Dukes will begin at 1 p.m. in Harrisonburg. A week later, Virginia will travel to Liberty to face the Flames and Randolph Macon on Oct. 12.
 
Virginia and Longwood will meet in Farmville on Oct. 20 for games at noon and 2 p.m. The fall schedule will conclude with an Oct. 26 trip to George Washington to face the Colonials. First pitch is scheduled for 1 p.m.
 
The Cavaliers will play their three-game Orange & Blue Series beginning Nov. 8 at The Park. There is no admission charge for the Orange & Blue Series.
