CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. –The No. 5 Virginia women’s soccer team (4-0-0) continues its homestand on Thursday (Sept. 5) with a top-15 showdown as the Cavaliers will face No. 15 Georgetown (2-1-1) in a 7 p.m. match at Klöckner Stadium.

TICKET INFORMATION
For all regular season home games, reserved single-game tickets can be purchased for $8 online and in advance, and $10 at the box office on game day. General admission single-game tickets are $5 online and in advance, and $8 at the box office on game day.
Soccer season tickets are only available for delivery either as mobile or print-at-home, however upon request and in person only including at the game day ticket office an option for point-of-sale paper stock printing is available for $10 per account. Fans are encouraged to take advantage of discounted single game pricing by purchasing tickets in advance and using mobile ticketing options or printing their tickets at home.

starting lineup this season, tallying her first goal (vs. UC Irvine) and her first assist (vs. West Virginia)
• Junior midfielder Taryn Torres was named to the Top Drawer Soccer Team of the Week on Tuesday
A LOOK AT GEORGETOWN
• Georgetown is 2-1-1 on the season entering the Thursday night contest
• The Hoyas are coming off a 2-0 win over Bucknell in their last match
• The Hoyas lost to ACC foe NC State at home and played Duke to a road draw
• Amanda Carolan leads Georgetown with two goals scored this season
• As a team, the Hoyas have scored five goals and allowed only four goals
• Georgetown keepers have posted two shutouts this season
THE SERIES WITH THE HOYAS
• UVA and Georgetown have faced each other three times in the series
• The squads first met in the 2013 NCAA Tournament with the Cavaliers taking a 1-0 victory to go to the Sweet 16
• The teams didn’t meet again until twice facing off in the 2016 season – Georgetown won both of those matches
• Georgetown rallied from a 2-0 deficit to win the regular-season meeting and then won 3-0 in the NCAA Sweet 16
• The last two meetings both came at Shaw Field and this will only be the second meeting at Klöckner Stadium
ORDONEZ NAMED ACC OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
• Freshman forward Diana Ordonez was named the ACC Offensive Player of the Week for week two of competition
• Ordonez hit four goals on nine shots with five of those shots on frame in the Cavaliers’ two wins on the weekend
• She hit two goals in the 4-0 win over East Carolina to deliver the squad its third win of the season
• She then hit the first two goals for Virginia in a 4-1 victory over No. 12 West Virginia on Sunday afternoon
