CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. –The No. 5 Virginia women’s soccer team (5-0-0) continues its homestand on Sunday (Sept. 8) hosting the Golden Gophers of Minnesota (0-3-2) in a noon match at Klöckner Stadium. It is the first-ever meeting between Virginia and Minnesota.

The match will be streamed on ACCNX which streams live on the ESPN app. ACCNX is available through participating TV providers that carry ACC Network. TICKET INFORMATION :
For all regular season home games, reserved single-game tickets can be purchased for $8 online and in advance, and $10 at the box office on game day. General admission single-game tickets are $5 online and in advance, and $8 at the box office on game day.
 
Soccer season tickets are only available for delivery either as mobile or print-at-home, however upon request and in person only including at the game day ticket office an option for point-of-sale paper stock printing is available for $10 per account. Fans are encouraged to take advantage of discounted single game pricing by purchasing tickets in advance and using mobile ticketing options or printing their tickets at home.

A LOOK AT MINNESOTA
• Minnesota is 0-3-2 on the season after dropping its home opener to Marquette 1-0 on Thursday night
• The Gophers spent the first two weeks on the road, playing a pair of matches in California and two in Mississippi
• Minnesota played UC Santa Barbara and Arkansas to draws, while dropping matches at Fullerton and Ole Miss
• The Gophers have scored five goals this season, while allowing nine goals through five matches

ORDOÑEZ A MODEL OF EFFICIENCY FOR CAVALIER OFFENSE
• Freshman Diana Ordonez has been a model of efficiency with 13-of-20 shots coming on goal so far this season
• Of those 13 shots on frame, nine have resulted in a goal for the freshman as she paces the nation in goals scored
• Senior Meghan McCool has also been efficient with 8-of-15 shots on frame resulting in four goals for the Hoos
• Despite only taking three shots this season, Rebecca Jarrett has also been selective with all three shots on frame
 
ORDOÑEZ SCORES IN FIRST FIVE MATCHES FOR UVA TO MATCH DONIAK IN FEAT
• Freshman Diana Ordonez has scored in all five matches this season on her way to nine goals to date
• She is only the second player to score in each of her first five matches of a Cavalier career
• Makenzy Doniak was the first player to score in her first five matches, accomplishing the feat in the 2012 season
• Doniak tallied six goals through those five matches in her debut season in the Orange and Blue

NEXT WEEKEND FOR THE CAVALIERS
• Virginia will play two games next week with William and Mary on Thursday and No. 8 Penn State on Sunday
• The matchup with the Tribe at 7 p.m. will close a seven-game homestand for the Hoos to start the season
