UVA Opens Spring at Georgia Southern Individual Collegiate

Charlottesville, Va. – The Virginia men’s golf team opens spring play this weekend at the Georgia Southern Individual Collegiate in Statesboro, Ga. The field will complete in 54 holes of stroke play. There is no team scoring for this event.
 
Virginia players who will participate include seniors Andrew Orischak (Hilton Head Island, S.C.), Nathan Chuwait (Herndon, Va.) and Christopher White (Garden City, N.Y.), junior WeiWei Gao (Cebu, Philippines), sophomore Jack Montague (Manakin-Sabot, Va.) and freshman Pietro Bovari (Milano, Italy).
 
The schedule calls for 36 holes of stroke play on Sunday starting at 8:30 a.m. The final round on Monday will also feature an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start.
