CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The Virginia Cavaliers (2-0) welcome the Princeton Tigers (2-0) to Klöckner Stadium on Saturday afternoon. Faceoff is set for 12 p.m. UVA is ranked No. 2 in this week’s USILA coaches and Inside Lacrosse/Maverick media polls. Princeton is receiving votes in both polls.

PARKING
Parking for men’s lacrosse and baseball on Saturday is available on a first-come, first-served basis at the John Paul Jones Arena parking lots. Parking is also available at the Emmet/Ivy Garage.
HOW TO FOLLOW
Live stats will be available at VirginiaSports.com. The game will be televised live on ACC Network. Chris Cotter will call the play-by-play, while Matt Ward and Paul Carcaterra will provide analysis. The broadcast will be simulcast on WatchESPN for participating TV providers that carry the ACC Network. There will be a live radio broadcast in the Charlottesville area on WINA 1070 AM and 98.9 FM. Luke Neer will provide the play-by-play and Doug Tarring will add analysis. The radio broadcast can also be heard on SiriusXM ACC Radio channel 371.

• UVA’s next win at Klöckner Stadium will be all-time win 150 for the Cavaliers at the historic edifice.
• Dox Aitken’s career 114 goals are the most in the nation among active midfielders.
• Michael Kraus has at least one point in all 51 of his career games. That streak is tied for the second-longest active streak in the nation.

• This is the 27th meeting between Virginia and Princeton in men’s lacrosse.
• UVA leads the series 16-10, winning the last seven.
• UVA and Princeton are meeting for the third year in a row.
• UVA leads the all-time series 16-10. UVA is 1-3 all-time in the NCAA Tournament against Princeton. The losses in the 1994 and 1996 NCAA Tournaments came in the title game, while the 2000 setback was in the semifinal round. UVA’s last NCAA meeting with Princeton (2012) is the Cavaliers’ only win against the Tigers in the NCAA Tournament. It was a 6-5 triumph at Klöckner Stadium.
• The last meeting in 2019 at Princeton Michael Kraus found Ian Laviano 1:02 into overtime and the then-No. 12 Virginia Cavaliers escaped New Jersey with a 12-11 triumph over then-No. 19 Princeton Tigers at Class of 1952 Stadium.

• Matt Madalon is in his fifth season as the Tigers’ head coach.
• The Tigers are coming off a 20-11 win over Colgate on Tuesday night.
• Michael Sowers leads Princeton with 25 points after notching an Ivy League record 14 points in the Colgate in on Tuesday night. Sowers leads the nation with 18 assists.
• Phillip Robertson leads the Tigers with eight goals, while Chris Brown rounds out the top Princeton scorers with five goals and one assist for six points.
• Erik Peters is saving 45.7 percent of shots between the pipes and is posting a 10.20 goals against average.
