Virginia Hosts Cavalier Invite, Diving at JMU
CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The Virginia men’s and women’s swimming teams will host the second annual Cavalier Invite February 4-6 at the Aquatic & Fitness Center.
Virginia’s men’s and women’s divers will compete at the Duke Dog Diving Invitational on Saturday and Sunday at Savage Natatorium.

About the Meet
Swimmers from George Washington, James Madison, Johns Hopkins, Pitt, Richmond and William & Mary will be competing.
Prelims and finals will be held at 11 a.m. and 6 p.m., respectively, on Friday and Saturday. Sunday’s prelims will begin at 10 a.m. and the finals will start at 4 p.m.
Last Time Out
- Virginia finished the dual meet season last weekend when it hosted UNC and NC State.
- The Cavalier women swept UNC and NC State’s women’s teams.
- UVA set four pool records in Saturday’s meet with the Wolfpack.
- Gretchen Walsh was named ACC Women’s Swimmer of the Week and Noah Nichols was Co-ACC Men’s Swimmer of the Week after the duals.
