Virginia Continues Road Play At Charleston Southern Tournament

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The Virginia softball team (2-3) continues to play on the road to start the season, traveling to compete at the CSU Buc Up Invitational hosted by Charleston Southern this weekend. Play begins with a pair of games on Friday (Feb. 18) against Charleston Southern (1-4) and Sacred Heart (0-0) and continues through Sunday.

QUICK HITS
• Virginia is playing on the road for the second straight weekend after going 2-3 last week to start the season
• The Hoos play a stretch of 21 consecutive road games before the March 8 home opener against Maryland
• Tori Gilbert leads the team with a .385 average, two home runs, and four RBI in the first week of play
