• Drafted in the 7th round (199th overall) by the Kansas City Royals
• Primarily a weekend starter on the mound for the Cavaliers, starting a team-high 14 games
• Logged a team-high, 74.1 innings and led the Cavaliers in strikeouts with 69
• Co-led the team with four quality starts
• Recorded seven or more strikeouts on five different occasions
• Credited with wins against Pitt (March 22), Notre Dame (April 6) and North Carolina (April 26)
• Struck out a career-high eight batters in 5.1 innings in a 12-5, Friday night victory over then No. 15 North Carolina on April 25
