2011 graduate of local St. Anne[apos]s-Belfield … played football his senior year only, passing for 1,481 yards and 17 touchdowns as a quarterback … rushed for six more TDs as a first-team all-conference and all-state honoree.. … made the Daily Progress[apos] second-team All-Central Virginia squad … was STAB[apos]s MVP and the Falcon Club Player of the Week … won VISAA DII State Football Championship … voted VISAA DII All State Quarterback … voted newcomer of the year and nominated for player of the year by Scrimmage Play Magazine … played baseball all four years … pitched, played first base and third base … as a senior he led the VISAA conference along with a teammate with 11 home runs in the season and won VISAA State Baseball Championship … made All VISAA Division first team … also played basketball … member of the award-winning CHS Orchestra and traveled and performed in London, New York City and Myrtle Beach, S.C. … in 2009 was named first chair cello … honor roll all three years at Charlottesville High School … worked Camp Wahoo as a volunteer counselor … on Christmas break helped with clean-up in Biloxi, Miss., after Hurricane Katrina … son of David and Mary Murray … has two older brothers, Joshua and Eric Rogan … mother Mary (Lackman) was on the UVa rowing team from 1975-77.
