2014 – One of 10 Cavaliers to start all 12 games … started all 12 games at right guard … saw time on 699 offensive plays … took part in a season-high 86 plays against Duke and North Carolina … helped UVa accumulate 500 yards of total offense in back-to-back games (BYU and Kent State) for the first time since 2004. 2013– Appeared in nine of UVa’s 12 games … started all nine games in which he appeared in … missed three games with a lower extremity injury … started the BYU and Oregon games at right guard … moved to left guard for the last seven games of the season … did not play against VMI, Pitt or Ball State … part of an offensive line that helped block for Kevin Parks, who became UVa’s first 1,000-yard rusher since 2004 … took part in 510 offensive plays. 2012 – Started 11 of UVa’s 12 games at left guard … helped an offense that has out gained 7 of their 12 opponents, including a streak of six in a row … helped UVa amass over 500 yards of total offense multiple times in a season for the first time since 2004 … helped protect UVa QBs as they passed for a program record 480 yards in a game against Louisiana Tech. 2011 – Appeared in four of Virginia’s 13 games … made collegiate debut against William & Mary … also saw time at Indiana, at North Carolina and at Maryland. 2010 – Redshirted … selected by the UVa coaches as the scout player of the week versus Florida State.
