2013– Captain … started all 12 of UVa[apos]s games … started the first four games at left guard … started the final eight games at center … injuries on the offensive line forced him to center fulltime for the season[apos]s fifth game … key member of an offensive that helped UVa running back Kevin Parks become the first Cavalier back to reach 1,000 yards rushing since 2004. 2012 – One of 11 players to start all 12 games for the Cavaliers … moved to center from right guard in fall camp and helped an offense that has out gained 7 of their 12 opponents, including a streak of six in a row … helped UVa amass over 500 yards of total offense multiple times in a season for the first time since 2004 … helped protect UVa QBs as they passed for a program record 480 yards in a game against Louisiana Tech … named UVa[apos]s offensive player of the game for the TCU and NC State game. 2011 – One of 13 players to start all 13 games for the Cavaliers in 2011 … teamed up with Oday Aboushi (LT), Anthony Mihota (C), Morgan Moses (RT) and Austin Pasztor (LG) to start every game on the offensive line, the first time the same five linemen started every game in a season for UVa since 2004 … made first collegiate start against William & Mary. 2010 – Appeared in five of Virginia[apos]s 12 games … made collegiate debut against VMI … appeared in 68 plays at right guard … lined up for a season-best 26 plays against Eastern Michigan … also saw time against North Caroina, at Boston College and at Virginia Tech. 2009 – Did not appear in any games … selected by the UVa coaches as the scout team player of the game against William and Mary.
