Career
• Became the first UVA goalkeeper to earn All-ACC honors three times
• Upon graduation ranked in the top 10 in career solo shutouts (T-3rd – 23), minutes played (3rd – 5,814), games played (3rd – 61), goals against average (6th – 0.85), saves (5th – 190) and save percentage (8th – .776)
• Prior to being relieved in a 4-0 win against Boston College on Nov. 1, he played 5,232:21 consecutive minutes in goal dating back to the 2015 season.

2017
• Drafted 19th overall by NYCFC in the 2018 MLS SuperDraft, UVA’s highest selection in eight years and highest ever by a UVA goalkeeper
• A Second Team All-South Region honoree
• Earned Second Team All-ACC honors for the second-straight year
• Named to the ACC All-Tournament team (allowed one goal in 388 minutes, two shutouts, 10 saves, four PK shootout saves)
• Listed on the ACC All-Academic Team and ACC Academic Honor Roll
• Led the ACC and was ranked ninth in the country in goal minutes played
• His 0.80 goals against average was the third lowest in the ACC (26th lowest in the country)
• Vaulted the Cavaliers into the ACC Semfinal after four saves in shutout of Louisville on Nov. 5. Also made two saves in penalty kick shootout
• Made three saves and stopped two penalty kick shootout attempts in the ACC Championship game against Wake Forest

2016
• Second-Team All-ACC honoree
• Just the third UVA goalkeeper to earn back-to-back All-ACC honors
• Started and played every minute in goal for the second straight season
• Recorded nine shutouts, 0.84 GAA and 75 saves – each was a career best
• Ranked third in ACC in saves, fifth in shutouts and seventh in GAA
• Named ACC Defensive Player of Week on Oct. 18 after seven-save performance in clean sheet against then-No. 2 Notre Dame

2015
• Named Third-Team All-ACC (UVA’s first goalkeeper to earn All-ACC honors since Brock Yetso in 1998)
• Named to ACC All-Academic Men’s Soccer Team and ACC Academic Honor Roll
• Started and played every minute of all 18 matches
• Recorded 0.91 goals-against average and 61 saves
• Earned seven clean sheets (10th in single-season UVA program history)
• Recorded career-high seven saves in ACC tournament match at Notre Dame (11/8); credited with at least five saves in each of UVA’s three postseason matches
• Allowed just two goals over UVA’s final five matches of season

2014
• Made two appearances in freshman season with starts against Old Dominion (8/29) and Davidson (9/24)
• Started UVA’s season opener against ODU and recorded clean sheet
• Member of United States roster at 2015 FIFA U-20 World Cup (did not see game action)
• Made one U-20 cap in 2015 (March 29 in a 1-0 loss to England)
• Called into U.S. U-20 National Team for training camp Sept. 1-10 in Argentina

• Parents are Paul and Lynn Caldwell
• Father played basketball and soccer (goalkeeper) at Davidson from 1969-73; mother played volleyball at Lenoir-Rhyne
• Has one sister, Sarah, who was goalkeeper at Furman from 2009-10
• Enrolled early at UVA for spring semester in 2014 after graduating with 4.25 GPA
