• Daughter of David and Stacy Shaffer
• Father played basketball at Clemson and Florida State and was selected by the Portland Trailblazers in the fourth round of the 1986 NBA Draft
• Grandfather, Lee Shaffer, was a basketball All-American at North Carolina, earning 1960 ACC Player of the Year honors before playing three seasons in the NBA for the Syracuse Nationals and Philadelphia 76ers
• Older brother, Shawn, plays basketball at William Peace University
• Older sister, Ashley, plays soccer at Georgetown
• Has a younger brother, Ryan
