Aly Helal

Aly Helal joined the Cavalier coaching staff in the fall of 2019. 

Helal competed for Catawba college as a freestyler. He was named a Bluegrass Mountain All-Conference honoree three time sand was named the Catawba Swimming MVP in 2016 and 2017. Helal was a Bluegrass Mountain Conference finalist in four individual events, making the finals in one event in 2016 and three events in 2017. 

Helal is a multiple Egyptian Nationals medalist, including winning a gold medal. 

Helal graduated with a bachelor of science degree in business administration from Catawba. He is currently a candidate for a master of science degree in accounting from Virginia’s McIntire School fo Commerce.
