After going ahead early, the Cavaliers trailed by a goal in the second half but scored a pair in quick succession to rally for a road win at Laird Q. Cagan Stadium. Virginia (4-4-1, 2-1-0 ACC) defeated No. 6 Stanford (7-2-1, 0-2-1 ACC) by a score of 3-2 on Friday night (Sept. 25).

The Virginia men’s soccer team (3-4-1, 1-1 ACC) is set to take on No. 6 Stanford (7-1-1, 0-1-1 ACC) on Friday (Sept. 25) at Laird Q. Cagan Stadium. Kickoff is set for 10 p.m. ET on ACCNX.

After trailing by a pair of goals at halftime, the Cavaliers mounted a furious comeback to tie the game, but a penalty kick with 14 seconds remaining saw the hosts claim all three points on Saturday night (Sept. 19). Virginia (3-4-1, 1-1-0 ACC) fell to Wake Forest by a score of 3-2 at Spry Stadium.
