Camryn Strong

Camryn Strong joined the UVA athletics department in 2024. She serves as the Virginia rowing athletic trainer and is responsible for assisting with the overall daily healthcare of UVA student- athletes, including, prevention, evaluation, treatment and rehabilitation for injuries and illness.
Prior to coming to Virginia, Strong spent time as a student-intern for the Lakeshore Chinooks of the Northwoods League and PBATS student-intern for the Arizona Diamondbacks in 2023.
Strong received her bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from Texas A&M University in 2021 and completed her master’s degree in Athletic Training in 2024. While at A&M, she worked with a variety of teams including football, women’s basketball, and baseball. Strong is a member of the National Athletic Trainer’s Association. She has certifications in mental health first aid, fat tool, and is a Basic Life Support provider through the American Heart Association.
