Kyndall Soukup is in her first season as Virginia baseball’s certified intern athletic trainer. She is responsible for assisting with the overall daily health care of UVA student-athletes, including prevention, evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation for injuries and illnesses.
Originally from Cypress, Texas, Soukup graduated from Baylor University in 2021 with a bachelor’s degree in Health Science Studies and master’s degree in Athletic Training. While at Baylor, she worked with a variety of teams, including baseball, softball, and football. She also completed an internship with the Rice University football team during their 2020 season.
Soukup is a member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association and has certifications in Functional Movement Systems Level 1 and Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association
