Nicholas Sheriff
Nicholas Sheriff is in his first season as Virginia baseball’s certified Athletic Trainer. He is responsible for assisting with the overall daily health care of UVA student-athletes, including prevention, evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation for injuries and illnesses
Originally from Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, Sheriff graduated from Barry University in 2021 with a bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training. While at Barry, he worked with a number of teams, including baseball, softball and basketball. Sheriff also completed an internship with the Miami Orthopedic and Sports Medicine Institute.
Sheriff is a member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association (NATA) and has certifications as a Corrective Exercise Specialist and Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association.
