Peter Robinson

Robinson joined the Cavalier staff as a volunteer assistant in fall of 2019.

Robinson coached at Austin Trinity Aquatic Club in 2019, where he worked under Olympic Gold medalist Doug Russel. He assisted with the coaching of the elite senior group Austin Trinity Aquatic Center. 

As a swimmer, Robinson was a walk-on for Southwestern University. The lone Pirate senior, he lead the team to its first men’s Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference title. Robinson was a two-time 200-yard freestyle conference champion and two time team MVP. He currently holds school records in the 200 freestyle, 200 backstroke and 500 freestyle, and in three relay events.

A 2019 graduate of Southwestern University, Robinson earned his bachelor’s of science degree in kinesiology. During his time at Southwestern, he was involved with Dr. Scott McLean in the biomechanics lab, investigating varying aspects of swimming performance.
