CHARLOTTESVILLE — The Virginia men’s tennis team completed play at the UVa Ranked Plus One Invitational Sunday by winning one singles flight and one doubles flight. Sanam Singh (Chandigarh, India) won the A-2 singles flight and the team of Michael Shabaz (Fairfax, Va.) and Dominic Inglot (London, England) won the A-3 doubles flight.

In the A-2 singles final, Singh topped No. 31 ranked Enrique Oliveras of East Tennessee State 7-6, 6-4. Also in that flight, Houston Barrick (Brentwood, Tenn.) downed No. 55 Boris Conkic of Tennessee in a superbreaker to win the third place match.

The other Cavalier playing for a singles title Sunday was Shabaz, who lost to No. 39 Reid Carleton of Duke 7-6, 4-6, 6-2 in the A-1 flight final.

Shabaz and Inglot won the A-3 doubles flight final 8-5 over J.P. Smith and Davey Sandgren of Tennessee. In the A-1 final, Singh and Barrick were upset by Nicolas Delgado and Luka Somen 8-5.
