Celeste Miles Named to ACC All-Academic Team

CHARLOTTESVILLE – Virginia senior goalkeeper Celeste Miles (Garland, Texas) was named to the 2008 ACC Women’s Soccer All-Academic Team conference officials announced this week.

Miles started every game in goal this season for the Cavaliers. She led Virginia to a 15-5-3 record, posting a 0.97 goals against average and nine shutouts.

To be eligible for consideration, a student-athlete must have earned a 3.00 grade point average for the previous semester and maintained a 3.00 cumulative average during her academic career.
