New London, NC – The No. 21 Virginia men’s golf team will enter Sunday’s final round of play at the ACC Championships at the Old North State Club in
New London, N.C. in fourth place. Virginia shot 8-under 280 Saturday to move up one stop in the standings. The Cavaliers have a 36-hole total of 10-under 566.

Georgia Tech, ranked 17th, continues to lead the tournament at 21-under 555. The Yellow Jackets hold a seven-shot advantage over 22nd-ranked Duke (562) and are eight strokes ahead of No. 32 Wake Forest (563). Clemson, ranked 15th, trails the Cavaliers by three shots.

Will Collins continues to pace the Cavaliers after shooting 4-under 68 during Saturday’s round. He is tied for fourth overall at 7-under 137. Ben
Kohles is two shots behind Collins in sixth place at 5-under 139. He had a 3-under 69 during the second round.

Mac McLaughlin, playing in his first tournament this spring as a scoring member of the team, moved up to 22nd thanks to a 2-under 70 Saturday. He is
at even par 144 for the tournament. Amory Davis shot 1-over 73 and is in 29th place at 146. Kyle Stough carded a 3-over 75 and is 53rd at 11-over
155.

Georgia Tech’s Chesson Hadley and NC State’s Matt Hill lead the field at 9-under 135. Hadley fired a 6-under 66 Saturday and Hill, the reigning NCAA
Champion, shot 69. Duke’s Adam Long is third at 136, one shot ahead of UVa’s Collins.

The tournament’s final round gets underway Sunday at 8:30 a.m. Virginia will start play at 10:10 a.m. and will be paired with Virginia Tech and Clemson. Live scoring is online at Golfstat.com.
