CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The Virginia field hockey team (6-10) has a quick turnaround from the weekend with a 7:30 p.m. game at William & Mary Monday in Williamsburg, Va. Live stats will be linked on VirginiaSports.com.

The Cavaliers are coming off a 7-2 loss at home to second-ranked North Carolina Saturday. Sophomore Elly Buckley registered both goals for Virginia in the loss.

Buckley leads the UVa offense with a team-best 13 goals and seven assists. Junior Britt Knouse and sophomore Carissa Vittese have each contributed six goals on the season. Freshman goalkeeper Jenny Johnstone has also recorded 41 saves in 14 starts on the year.

William & Mary is 6-7 on the season and most recently fell 3-0 at home to seventh-ranked Duke on Saturday. The Tribe has lost six straight.

Leah Zamesnik paces the William & Mary offense with five goals on the year while teammate Jesse Ebner adds four scores. In the cage, Camilla Hill has a 2.00 goals against average to go along with a .728 save percentage and 67 saves.

Virginia leads the all-time series with William & Mary, 24-14-2. Last season, the Cavaliers earned a 3-0 victory in Charlottesville.
