CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va.- The Virginia women’s basketball program will be hosting its annual Meet the Team Day on Sunday, Nov. 3 from 2-3:30 p.m. at John Paul Jones Arena. Admission is free and open to the public.

The team will be running through a series of practice drills on the main court from 2-2:45 p.m. Fans are invited to watch the drills and can tour the women’s basketball practice court and locker rooms in addition to the weight room and a luxury suite during this time. Following the team’s practice, the players will be available for autographs on the court.

Virginia, who was voted eighth in the preseason ACC poll, finished last season with a 16-14 record and an 8-10 conference mark. The Cavaliers will have their top-three scorers from last season, including senior guards Ataira Franklin (Bowie, Md.) and Kelsey Wolfe (Germantown, Md.) and junior forward Sarah Imovbioh (Abuja, Nigeria), back on the court in 2013-14 in addition to welcoming back 2012 ACC All-Defensive Team selection Lexie Gerson(Fort Washington, Pa.). Gerson, who sat out last season due to injury, averaged 9.8 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 2.6 assists during the 2011-12 season.

Season tickets for Virginia’s 14 regular-season home games are on sale now and offer savings of $24-$45 off the single-game ticket price depending upon seat location. Reserved season ticket prices are $95 for adults and $70 for youth (18 & under), seniors (60 & over) and UVa faculty/staff. General admission season ticket prices are $80 for adults and $60 for youth (18 & under), seniors (60 & over) and UVa faculty/staff.

Tickets may be purchased by contacting the Virginia Athletics Ticket Office at 1-800-542-UVA1 (8821). Fans can also purchase tickets online at VirginiaSports.com or in-person at the Virginia Athletics Ticket Office in Bryant Hall at Scott Stadium.
