ADELAIDE, Australia – Virginia alumnus Jarmere Jenkins (Class of 2013) won his first career title on the ATP Challenger Tour, winning the doubles title at the West Lakes Challenger in Australia. Jenkins teamed with Marcus Daniell of New Zealand to win the championship at the $50,000 event.

Jenkins and Daniell topped the No. 3 seeds, Dane Propoggia and Jose Statham in Sunday’s final, 6-4, 6-4.

Jenkins also reached the singles quarterfinals of the event and will have career-high ATP singles and doubles rankings next week.
