CHARLOTTESVILLE – No. 10 Virginia (5-1) returns to action at No. 16 Alabama (4-2) on Saturday, Feb. 15. First serve is set for 1 p.m.

The Cavaliers are 4-1 all-time against the Crimson Tide, including a 4-1 win in consolation action last weekend at the 2014 ITA National Women’s Tennis Indoor Team Championships. Virginia also posted a 4-0 win over then-No. 7 Texas A&M, finishing the tournament with a 2-1 record.

Virginia won the doubles point and Julia Elbaba (Oyster Bay, N.Y.), Stephanie Nauta (Galveston, Texas) and Maci Epstein (Winter Park, Fla.) recorded singles wins in the victory over Alabama on Feb. 9.

Elbaba owns school records in the latest ITA singles (No. 4) and doubles (No. 3) rankings. Elbaba is 17-2 in singles and 20-3 in doubles with freshman Rachel Pierson (Princeton, N.J.).

Pierson is ranked No. 39 in singles, while sophomore Danielle Collins (St. Petersburg, Fla.) is No. 53 and Nauta is No. 107.

Alabama’s Maya Jensen is ranked No. 59 in the ITA singles rankings and Erin Routliffe is No. 62 and Mary Anne Daines is No. 76. Jensen and Routliffe are ranked No. 20 in doubles and Emily Zabor and Luicelena Perez are No. 36. Danielle Spielmann and Routliffe are ranked No. 45.
