Former #UVAMTEN player Dominic Inglot and the British Davis Cup team have advanced to the semifinals after downing Serbia 3-2 this weekend in Belgrade. Inglot partnered with Jamie Murray to come up with a big win in Saturday’s doubles match, giving their nation a 2-1 lead heading into Sunday’s final two singles matches. The Brits are looking to repeat their 2015 Davis Cup championship and will be facing Argentina in the semis. Inglot will also be representing Great Britain next month in the Olympics, partnering with Davis Cup teammate Kyle Edmund in the doubles competition.

#UVABase alum Chris Taylor was a breakout star on Friday night for the Los Angeles Dodgers, going 3-for-5 with a grand slam and six RBI while falling a single shy of the cycle. He followed it up with a two-hit performance on Sunday. Taylor recently was traded to the Dodgers after spending five seasons in the Mariners organization.
