As most people know, the iconic University Hall is closed and set to be demolished as one of the first steps in the #MasterPlan for building a new vision for the athletics department. Before that happens, several UVA students, faculty and staff members are documenting the building with 3-D data-acquisition methods and still cameras. Once the data acquisition is complete, additional processing will create models that can be used for a variety of purposes, including virtual reality tours and 3-D reproductions.
