On Friday, the Houston Rockets celebrated International Women’s Day by honoring the Houston Comets and #UVAWBB head coach @IamTinaThompson. Here is the video they showed in the arena. Thompson also took the ceremonial First Shot, draining it to earn a donation for charity.
 

@OracleTennis US Tennis Award

Congratulations to former #UVAMTEN standout JC Aragone who has been awarded the $100,000 Oracle US Tennis Award. The program, started three years ago, annually awards one rising US male and US female tennis player a grant to help finance their continued development. It is a highly selective and prestigious honor. Aragone is the second Cavalier to earn the grant. Former #UVAWTEN standout Danielle Collins was a recipient in the first year the grants were awarded.
