Yesterday, Vin Lananna was named UVA’s  Director of Track and Field and Cross Country/Associate Athletics Director for Administration. The legendary USTFCC Hall of Fame coach has won 11 NCAA team championships, produced numerous NCAA individual champions, conference champions and Olympic medalists. During three-plus decades as a head coach, he has led teams to 42 conference championships in his time with Stanford and Oregon as well as being elected the president of USA Track and Field in 2016.
