Hoos in Q-School

Two former UVA women’s golfers are near the top of the leaderboard following the first of two 72-hole tournaments in the LPGA’s final stage of its Q-series qualifying to gain status for next year’s tour. Lauren Coughlin is tied for second place while Elizabeth Szokol is tied for seventh. 2019 UVA graduate Anna Redding is tied for 78th place. The second 72-hole tournament takes place at Pinehurst this week. Scoring is cumulative for the 144-holes of stroke play with a cut after the sixth round.
